Access to information
How to ask for your information, request other records or raise a concern.
Start with what you need
Email washhub@tosh.co.za, addressed to the Information Officer, and describe the records or correction you need. Include your booking reference if relevant. For information about another person, explain your authority to act. Please wait for verification instructions before sending identity documents.
Your private booking link provides booking details without a formal records request. Our legal pages, service descriptions and published prices are available freely on this website. The privacy notice describes personal information processed by the service.
Requests under POPIA
You can ask whether we hold your personal information and request access, correction or deletion where applicable. We may verify identity, protect other people’s information and retain records required by law. If a request cannot be granted in full, we will explain the reason and available next steps.
Formal access under PAIA
For a formal request, use the Information Regulator’s current Form 2 and identify the records, the right you seek to exercise or protect, why the records are needed, and your preferred access method. Send it to our contact above for the attention of the Information Officer. Any prescribed fee, exemption, decision period or permitted extension is governed by PAIA, not an arbitrary website fee.
The Regulator provides the PAIA guide and current forms. Its guide explains the process, assistance available and remedies. You may ask us for help identifying a record or making an accessible request.
Records relevant to The Wash Hub
- Customer and vehicle details, bookings, scheduling and change history.
- Business, partner and authorised staff records.
- Recorded cash receipts, settlements, invoices and related correspondence.
- Notification records, support messages and technical security records.
Availability depends on the records actually held and applicable access restrictions. Listing a category does not make all its records public. This page explains access procedures; it is not a substitute for the operator’s complete section 51 PAIA manual.
Concerns about access or privacy
You may contact the Information Regulator’s complaints service directly if you believe your privacy or access rights have not been respected. The Regulator’s site provides current forms and contact channels. You do not have to give up a statutory remedy to use our support process.
