Booking terms
Know what you are booking, what you will pay and what happens if plans change.
Review the business, package, vehicle size, location, time and total. Payment is in person. Keep your confirmation reference and private booking link.
1. Who provides the service
These terms apply to bookings made through The Wash Hub. Our contact and operator information is on the legal overview. The business named in your booking performs the service; The Wash Hub provides the booking platform and helps with enquiries and disputes. This does not remove anyone’s legal responsibilities.
Book Express reserves a time at a partner business. A mobile booking schedules a team at the address you supply. A booking is confirmed when the website issues a confirmation and reference. A form submission that fails validation or availability checks is not a confirmed booking.
You must be 18 or older, able to enter into this agreement and authorised to book for the vehicle or person concerned. Give accurate contact and access details. Do not include medical information, identity numbers, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information in booking notes.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in South African rand. The booking screen shows the service price, any booking fee and the total before you submit. Book Express includes the displayed convenience fee; mobile bookings have no partner booking fee. The confirmed price is stored with your booking. Later catalogue changes do not change that price.
Pay at the service location: Book Express uses cash at the partner; mobile bookings are paid to the team in person. This website does not collect card details, take online payments or charge a subscription. Any extra work or change in price must be explained and agreed before that work starts. Ask for proof of payment and keep it.
3. Changes, cancellations and arrival
For an unpaid pending or confirmed booking, online cancellation is available more than two hours before the appointment. Online rescheduling is available more than four hours before it, up to three changes, subject to availability. These are website controls, not limits on your legal rights. See the cancellations and refunds policy for help outside those windows or after payment.
Times are South African Standard Time (UTC+2). Arrive five minutes early for Book Express. For mobile services, provide a safe, accessible location and permission to use it. Tell the team about access restrictions and confirm any site requirements before the visit. Service duration is an estimate; traffic, weather or earlier work may cause delays. Contact us if the team or business cannot serve you as booked.
4. Vehicle care and service problems
Point out pre-existing damage, loose fittings, special finishes and care instructions before work begins. Remove valuables and make the vehicle accessible. These precautions do not release the supplier from responsibility for reasonable care. Do not ask a team to work in unsafe conditions or contrary to local water restrictions.
If something goes wrong, tell the business and email us with your reference, what happened and the outcome you seek. Photographs may help where safe and relevant. Prompt reporting helps investigation; it is not an automatic waiver if a problem is discovered later.
5. Consumer rights and responsibility
You retain rights under applicable South African consumer law, including remedies for deficient services. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. There is no blanket liability waiver or contractual cap overriding statutory rights.
We aim to keep booking information accurate and the website available. If an error or interruption affects a confirmed booking, contact us so it can be addressed. An error does not authorise an unagreed extra charge.
6. Your information and safe use
The privacy notice explains booking information and service messages. Booking is not consent to advertising. Protect your private booking link: anyone with it may view and manage the booking. Report an exposed link to us. Do not probe other customers’ records, misuse accounts, impersonate someone or interfere with the service.
Site content belongs to its respective owners. You may save these terms and your booking records for personal use. Commercial reuse of brand assets or content requires permission from the relevant rights holder.
7. Complaints and changes to these terms
Email washhub@tosh.co.za for assistance. You may also approach an applicable consumer ombud, the National Consumer Commission or a competent court. South African law applies, subject to mandatory protections.
Changes will carry a new update date. Material changes apply to future bookings unless agreed with you or required by law. They do not retrospectively remove rights attached to a confirmed booking.
