Cookies, explained
Essential browser storage, without an advertising consent maze.
What this website uses
A cookie is a small value a website asks your browser to store. The Wash Hub uses an essential first-party session cookie named _wash_hub_session to keep forms, booking-session checks and staff sign-in working. It is encrypted and marked Secure in production, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax.
The application sets no persistent expiry for this cookie. Your browser usually removes session cookies when its session ends, although session-restore settings may keep them longer. You can delete them in browser settings. They are not a marketing profile.
Analytics and external resources
This version does not load advertising pixels, behavioural analytics, embedded maps or social-media trackers. Fonts and other page assets are served with the website, so viewing a page does not request fonts from Google. Hosting infrastructure may process technical traffic and security logs, as described in our privacy notice.
Your controls
You can block or clear cookies through your browser. Blocking the session cookie may prevent sign-in or submission of protected forms. Public legal information remains readable without signing in. Because this version uses only essential application cookies, there is no optional tracking to accept or reject.
If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this notice and provide appropriate controls before enabling it. Contact washhub@tosh.co.za with questions about browser storage.
